This is a Studio guitar cab and uses our specially designed dual skinned construction with a veneer oak finish. The studio guitar cab has over sized fans placed at strategic points within the case,to ensure the cab remains cool. The cabinet has two lockable wheels and two free moving wheels at the rear and has a specially designed cable port, to allow jack cables.
The Amp Cabinet will fit a single 12" cab. The maximum wattage is100w.
The amp cabinet is used in studios where the guitar cab needs to be in the same room you normally monitor your recordings. This is because most guitar cabinets sound better at higher levels, especially if they are valve cabs. The Amp Cabinet helps to decrease vibration noise and more importantly sound levels from the guitar cab, while helping to ensure the guitar cab is kept at a good temperature.
You have to use close micing with this cabinet, so it is recommended to find a microphone capable of handling close micing SPL levels. The unit has a specially designed cable port, to allow jack cables.
Please note there is a small degree of fan noise due to the amount of ventilation required to keep the guitar amp cool.
