Our PC cabinet is more advanced than other PC cabinets on the market, the biggest difference is the double skinned design which drastically reduces vibrations which can be picked up when open micing an instrument. The PC cabinet helps to decrease vibration noise and more importantly fan noise from the Apple Mac Pro,while helping to ensure the mac is kept at a constant temperature.
This is a Apple Mac Pro Cabinet and uses our specially designed dual skinned construction with a veneer oak finish. The unit can be used in studios where the Apple Mac Pro is in the same room as a open mic'ed recording.
The Apple Mac Pro Cabinet has over sized fans that direct the air into the front and extract the air from the rear, which ensures the Mac Pro remains cool. The cabinet has two lockable wheels and two free moving wheels at the rear and has a specially designed cable port, to allow USB – Firewire – Mini Jack – VGA - DVI - Optical and Digi Snake cables.
Please note there is a very small amount of fan noise due to the amount of ventilation required to keep the Mac Pro cool.
